Author Introduction

Hello everyone!
My name is Tyler Graham and I am a System Administrator within Trine University’s I.T. department. I started with Trine in March of 2018 as a Director of Admission for TrineOnline’s Fort Wayne Education Center. In September 2019, I began working for the IT department where I held positions such as Moodle Administrator, Instructional Designer, & I.T. Services Supervisor.

I have worn a lot of hats throughout my work history. I have worked in restaurant management, community-based mental health case management, sales, university admissions, and Information Technology. Although I have worked in many different fields, there has always been one common thread – training and talent development.

While in restaurant management, I created training materials, process manuals, and facilitated frequent orientations throughout high-turnover environments. When I worked as a mental health case manager, my focus was on assisting and coaching individuals in developing intrapersonal, interpersonal, and professional skills. I spent a great deal of time assisting faculty with troubleshooting technical problems as well as offering advice for instructional design, educational technology, and course development within Moodle. I still assist students and faculty in many capacities, but as a System Administrator, I spend most of my time working within various project management elements of IT.

Academically, I earned an A.S. in Human Services (Ivy Tech Community College), a B.S. in Psychology (Trine University), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) through Trine University as well.

In my spare time away from work, I enjoy spending time with my wife (Ashtyn) and traveling whenever possible, hiking, reading, disc golfing, playing games of all mediums, learning new skills, and socializing with friends and family.
