44 Gradebook Setup

You can select the Gradebook Setup menu within the Grades menu:

If you are developing a course, you may spend a decent amount of time in gradebook setup configuring your grade item categories, course aggregation, and other settings that are applicable to your course. In an ideal scenario, you do not have to enter this menu when your course is active. If you are creating a course or correcting an issue, you may have to visit this to ensure that your grades are calculated as you’d expect and that your gradebook aligns with your course syllabus. A lot of this work is prompted during the pre-term checklist phase of a TrineOnline course.
