34. Whether All Without Distinction Should Receive What is Necessary
Distribution was made to each one as there was need. (Acts 4:35)
2 By this we do not mean to say that there should be favorites, God forbid; however, there should be consideration for weaknesses. 3 When one needs less, let him give thanks to God and not be sad. 4 However, when one needs more, let him be humbled by his weakness and not become self-important because of the mercy shown to him, 5 and so all the members will be at peace.
6 Before all else, the evil of murmuring should not appear for any reason whatsoever, by any word or by any sign whatsoever. 7 If anyone is found guilty of this, he should be subject to a more severe discipline.
