29. Receiving Back Brothers Who Have Left the Monastery
If a brother who has left the monastery through his own fault wants to return, let him first promise to change everything that caused him to leave, 2 and then let him be received back into the last place to test in this way his humility.
3 If he goes away a second time, let him be received back, and even a third time, but after that, he should know that every opportunity to return will be denied him.
