50. Brothers Who Work Far From the Church or Who Are on a Journey
When brothers work at a great distance and are unable to meet in the oratory at the appointed time, 2 and the abbot judges that this is so, 3 let them carry out the Work of God where they work, kneeling down and trembling with godly fear.
4 Likewise, those sent on a journey should not ignore the established hours, but they, as they are able, should carry them out and not become careless about rendering their measure of service.
