Dr. Ángela Pacheco González. is a scholar and educator with a PhD in Hispanic Literature from Purdue University. With over a decade of experience in academia, she has dedicated her career to exploring the rich world of Hispanic cultures and literature across the globe. Dr. Pacheco Gonzalez focuses on the intersections of culture, art, and history within Hispanic communities to create a holistic view of the Hispanic world for undergraduate college students.

As a passionate advocate for cultural diversity and inclusion, Dr. Pacheco Gonzalez brings a unique perspective to her work, drawing on her own heritage (Colombia and Spain) and her passion for teaching. Her textbook, “Culturas y Civilizaciones de los Países Hispanos” serves as a vital resource for students and educators alike, offering insights into the dynamic and multifaceted nature of the Hispanic world.

In addition to her scholarly pursuits, Dr. Pacheco González. is actively involved in community outreach working to promote cultural awareness and appreciation of the Hispanic world. When she’s not teaching or writing, she enjoys working on art, reading and exploring new places.
