Laura Merrifield Wilson is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Indianapolis. Her teaching and scholarship focuses on state government, public policy, campaigns and elections, and gender politics.  Her book “Lurleen Burns Wallace: The Power of the First Lady Governor” (from Peter Lang Publishing, 2020) examined the complicated legacy of the first female governor of Alabama.  She produces and hosts “Positively Politics” on WICR 88.7 and is a panelist on “INFocus” produced at Fox59/CBS4 and syndicated statewide.

Gregory Shufeldt is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Indianapolis. His teaching and research interests within American Politics include political parties, state and local government, and political inequality. His research has been published in State Politics & Policy Quarterly, American Politics Research, Party Politics, Journal of Elections, Public Opinion & Parties, Electoral Studies, Publius: The Journal of Federalism, and other journals.

Dr. Rhonda Wrzenski earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in Political Science from Louisiana State University and her B.A. in Political Science and Media Production from Hastings College. She is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Indiana University Southeast with over 14 years of teaching experience in higher education. She has developed and taught courses in American politics, including state politics, voting and elections, the U.S. Congress, public opinion, and policy making along with an introductory course in American politics and a capstone research seminar.  She is also the pre-law advisor for the campus of Indiana University Southeast.  Her research interests include state legislatures, state legislative campaigns, campaign finance, and the under-representation of women in politics.

Nicholas LaRowe is an associate professor of political science and the Pre-Law Program Coordinator at the University of Southern Indiana. He also serves as coach for the university’s mock trial team. His research and teaching interests include American Politics, the American legal system, judicial elections, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. He has published academic articles, book chapters and reviews in various outlets, including Cambridge University Press, Judicature, and the Justice System Journal.

Chad Kinsella is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Co-Director of the Voting Systems and Technical Oversight Program (VSTOP) at Ball State University. He teaches American Politics and Public Administration, including in the department’s MPA Program.  He published numerous journal articles and book chapters.
