Jennie L. Mitchell is an Emerita Professor in the Department of Business & Leadership Master’s Programs and Ph.D. Global Leadership program at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. She serves as the Chief Editor of Αρετή (Arete) Journal of Excellence in Global Leadership, a peer-reviewed journal.  She earned her Master of Business Administration and Ph.D. in Curriculum, Instruction, and Media at Indiana State University.   Mitchell holds several professional certifications, including CPA, CMA,  XBRL and is an MBTI facilitator.  Her research interests encompass data visualization, big data, case methods that include ethical issues around data, and accounting history. She teaches in the Master of Leadership (MLD), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the Ph.D. in Global Leadership program at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.

Trent Deckard is a faculty member at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in the Communication, Professional, and Computer Skills program. He teaches undergraduate, MBA, and Executive Education students. Each spring he teaches classes on leadership lessons from the comic book industry at the Jellison Living Learning Center. Deckard has regularly contributed to peer-reviewed publishing on classroom assignments centering on communication, confidence, creativity, storytelling in Business and Professional Communication Quarterly. He is also a doctoral student at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Ph.D. in Global Leadership. Deckard earned his MA in Applied Communication from IU Indianapolis and a BS in Political Science and Criminal Justice with Criminology from Ball State University. He has published on global leadership and cross-cultural storytelling in Αρετή (Arete), Journal of Excellence in Global Leadership. A former congressional aide, he currently serves his community as an elected at-large member of the Monroe County Council.
