Congratulations! You have completed the first module’s learning materials and activities. To wrap up Part 1: Basics of Creative Commons, one of the two final assignments must be submitted. A summary of each assignment is provided below. Please review each assignment, decide which you’d prefer to complete, and then select the appropriate Google Form for your submission.
Reminder, only members of PALNI institutions should submit assessments as they are the only ones eligible for badges and certifications.
Option 1: Reflection
To reflect on the module, answer the following questions in a format of your choosing (written, video, infographic).

Evaluation Criteria: Thoroughly address the prompts, explain your perspective, connect the prompts with specific elements from the module and your university or institution position.

Option 2: Application
Design a 2-3 page guide where you:
- Explain the foundational elements of Creative Commons license
- Provide a step-by-step procedure for licensing a new work, to a faculty member familiar with OER, but unclear on the critical aspects related to licensing and creation.
- Once complete, submit to the Google form linked below or follow the alternative instructions provided in the form.
Evaluation Criteria:
- Meet the minimum page requirement
- Connecting content from the course with the components of the prompt.
